LOTTO AT THE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP OF JOURNALIST TENNIS PLAYERS
The International Association of Journalist Tennis Players (AITJ) World Championship has just ended at the Ronchi Mare Tennis Club at Marina di Massa (Tuscany, Italy). The 35th edition of this important competition sees its return to Italy at last after more than 10 years.
Nearly 150 journalists played each other on the club’s eight courts: coming from all over the world, especially Europe and North America, the competitors were divided into twelve categories including singles, doubles, open and various “over” groupings by age bracket and gender.
The players’ technical level was very high: standing out among them were some journalists that had played on professional circuits in the past, also gaining ATP and WTA points.
The media represented by the various participants were major names such as Rai, Mediaset, Sky and Eurosport, only to quote a few.
Lotto Sport Italia took part in this international event as technical sponsor, offering the official tournament polo and the uniforms for the finalists in the most representative categories.
