The wait is over!

The world's most prestigious tennis tournament, Wimbledon, began on July 3rd, where the best athletes compete on London's grass for glory.

As always, Lotto boasts a strong representation of athletes in all the tournament draw tables. More than 50 players will proudly represent the losanga in the women's and men's singles and doubles draw.

Katerina Siniakova Wins Big In Germany

A huge win for an incredible Lotto athlete!

Katerina Siniakova dazzled on the court at the Bad Homburg Open in Germany. She took home her first singles title of the season by beating another Lotto star in the final, Lucia Bronzetti, who had an excellent week herself. 


The two players are ready to give their best on the grass at Wimbledon.

Lotto Success at the Eastbourne International Open

Demi Schuurs and partner Desirae Krawczyk took home the title by beating the Melichar-Perez pairing

The Eastbourne International Open saw some fantastic results for Lotto athletes!

In the women's doubles draw, Demi Schuurs and partner Desirae Krawczyk took home the title by beating the Melichar-Perez pairing in two sets in the finals.

In the men's doubles draw, Austin Krajicek and Ivan Dodig were stopped just short of the title by the Mektic-Pavic team.

Great job to both teams—we look forward to seeing what you can accomplish moving forward!

Lloyd Harris Wins Gold at the Mallorca Open

More Lotto greatness!

South African tennis star Lloyd Harris claimed the doubles title at the ATP 250 Open in Mallorca, Spain,  with his partner Yuki Bhambri.

The team defeated the Haase-Oswald pair with sets of 6-3 and 6-4 in the final. In singles, Harris lost in the semifinals to eventual tournament winner Christopher Eubanks.

Tennis has been on fire since our last update!

Here are some more results from Lotto athletes:

  • Patrick Kypson won the ATP Challenger in Medellin, Colombia, after beating Benjamin Lock in the final with a double 6-3.
  • Yshai Oliel took the title at the ITF M25 in Netanya, Israel, beating number 2 seed Filip Peliwo in three sets in the final.
  • Young Hungarian Luca Udvardy won big at the ITF W15 in Alkmaar, Netherlands, after a week in which Luca beat the number 1 and 2 seeds!
  • A second consecutive title for Enrico Dalla Valle—he won the ITF M15 in Celje, Slovenia. In the final, Enrico defeated Poland's Pawel Cias with sets of 6-0 and 6-1.
  • Ergi Kirkin won the ITF M15 in Belgrade, Serbia. Ergi beat Serbia's Miljan Zekic with sets of 3-6, 7-5, and 6-3 in the final, coming back from an early set deficit.
  • Another great tournament played by young Spaniard Martin Landaluce, who, at the ITF M25 in Bourg-en-Bresse, France, came within a step of the final. In the semifinals, Martin was stopped by number 2 seed Valentin Vacherot in two hard-fought sets.

More incredible soccer results? Yes, please!

We saw victories for all Lotto teams in the last round of the first leg of the Ecuadorian Serie A: 

  • El Nacional beat Independiente del Valle with a score of 4-3.
  • Cumbayá FC won 2-1 against Libertad.
  • Deportivo Cuenca defeated Emelec with a score of 3-2.
  • In the Peruvian Liga 1, Cusco FC beat another Lotto team, Club Universidad Técnica de Cajamarca. The score was 2-1 after a very even match.
  • In the Malaysian Super League, Sabah FC beat Kelantan United 3-0.

Padel

A Fantastic Showing for Fede Mouriño

Fede Mouriño and teammate Ignacio Piotto were runners-up at the A1 Padel Estepark Open in Spain.


After playing a top-level tournament with his SUPERRAPIDA 200s, Fede settled for an excellent second place behind the Dal Bianco-Arce pair.
