Another week, another round up of amazing results in tennis tournaments!

This week, we saw some great finishes from Lotto Sport athletes in WTA and ATP tournaments, along with a fantastic event to support Ukraine. Plus, we saw a tennis star briefly make a surprise return from retirement.

In Palermo, Lucia Bronzetti makes it to her first career final before finally falling to Romanian Irina Begu with sets of 0-2, 2-6, and 2-6. This was her first ever tour-level final. 

Alexander Kovacevic Is the Runner-Up at the ATP Challenger in Indianapolis

American tennis player Alexander Kovacevic battled his way to the finals of the ATP Challenger in Indianapolis, where he was bested by Yibing Wu with sets of 6-7, 7-6, and 6-3.  


The incredible finals match lasted three hours!

Gilles Arnaud Bailly Wins European Junior Championships

Gilles Arnaud Bailly came up with a huge win!


The star from Belarus has been featured in Lotto sport updates before, and comes away as the ITF U18 European champion after an extraordinary match in Klosters, Switzerland. In the final, he defeated the Croatian Dino Prizmic with sets of 6-2 and 6-3. 

Harold Mayot is the Runner-Up at the ATP Challenger in Tampere

A fantastic result from a tremendous Lotto athlete! Harold Mayot goes all the way to the finals at the Tampere Open, only losing to Hungarian star Zsombor Piros with sets of 2-6, 6-1, and 4-6.

The Tampere Open 2022 was the 40th edition of the tournament, part of the Challenger 80 category of the ATP Challenger Tour 2022. It took place from July 18 to 24 on the clay courts at the Tampere Tennis Center in Tampere, Finland.

Agnieszka Radwańska Joins Świątek & Friends For Ukraine Event in Kraków

Poland's history-making duo Iga Świątek and Agnieszka Radwańska joined forces in a game that raised money for relief organizations aiding Ukrainian children.

World ranked number 1 Iga Świątek hosted the "Świątek & Friends for Ukraine" charity exhibition at the Tauron Arena in Kraków, Poland, and was joined by former world ranked number 2 Agnieszka Radwańska.

Radwańska retired from professional tennis back in 2018.
